HIBISCUS THREE PUBLISHING AWARD 2022
HIBISCUS THREE encourages the inclusion and participation of Papua New Guineans in book publishing, especially girls and women from urban, rural and remote PNG.
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2022, HIBISCUS THREE will award one Papua New Guinean woman the third HIBISCUS THREE PUBLISHING AWARD.
HBISCUS THREE invites all Papua New Guinean women to submit manuscripts, complete or partial (maximum 8,000 words). All genres, mixed format accepted (eg essay & poetry, short story collection). Email manuscript copy and a brief bio to hibiscusthree@gmail.com for consideration.
Submissions deadline is 1 January 2022.
Winning Manuscript/Recipient will be announced 12 January 2022.
The HIBISCUS THREE PUBLISHING AWARD 2022 Winning Manuscript published book is scheduled for release on Monday 8 March, International Women’s Day 2022.
WHAT THE AWARD ENTAILS
* Publishing of Awardee’s manuscript under the HIBISCUS THREE imprint
* Publishing and editing fee waived
* Social media marketing (via HIBISCUS THREE social media accounts) of published Ebook and paperback.
* Awardee will receive an Author Copy of published book, mailed out by HIBISCUS THREE.
The HIBISCUS THREE Instagram account will be the primary social media source for all Award-related content. All applicants are encouraged to ‘Follow’ @hibiscus.three for updates.
